Printouts
 
modular® Basic gives you the possibility to print your design in with the best possible way and always according to your needs.
 
There are two main ways to print one or more designs:
 

Print options:
In this part of the printing dialogue you can specify the information that will be printed.
The options are:
 
  Header
The header shows the size, color changes, number of stitches of the design, the yarn needed for the current design, the colors that the current design is using and the position where they should be.
   
  Color changes
The color changes show the sequence of the color changes. This information is really useful in case the current design will be written in machine format which uses Stop instead of color change command.
   
  Sequence icons
The sequence icons show the parts of the designs that are split with a special function like color change, applique or stop. On this icon appears the name of the color that should be used and its comments.
   
  Information
the information listed are taken from the "Design info..." dialogue.
   
  Orientation
Orientation shows the way that the printed page should be placed on the embroidery machine in order to define the starting point of the design.
   
  Company name
Adds the company name in the printout.
   
  Binder space
This option creates the necessary margin (on the left side of the page) in case you want to put the printout in a folder.
   
  Stitch count
With this option you decide whether the number of stitches of the current design will be printed or not.
   
  Start point
This option shows or hides the starting point of the design.
   
  3D-Preview
When this option is enabled, the printout will show the design as it will be embroidered.
   
  Fabric
When this options is enabled, the printout will show also the fabric you have selected painted with the background color.
Moreover, with this options you can show the design printed on cups, t-shirts etc. See example...
   
Every item of the printout can be activated or inactivated by clicking on the square on the left of its description. If the item is activated, the changes appear on the preview area.
 

Print Catalogue:
In the Icon Browser window, right click on the selected designs and click on Print option.
On the following dialogue you can specify the number of the icons that will be printed Horizontal or Vertical.
The size of the icons of the catalogue depend on the number of the designs that are shown per page.
